Re: Shouldn't we all invest some time and effort into learning about investing so we don't get Madoff'd? My hubby says he thinks everyone should have a retirement..........he just doesn't want to be paying for it. We have to provide our own retirement and invest wisely so we don't lose our shirts.............. Yes, and we should all wear body armor and carry M-16's when we go to the beach. I'm all for police protection and a safe society, I just don't want to be paying for it. :-) Or maybe a little regulation - if it's enforced! - and even if we have to collectively pay for it, isn't entirely bad...
