Yes, I saw and read that Friedmann post and wasn't impressed. he used to be a pretty good dude but I find it truly remarkable how quiet he has remained during this Gaza war - until now. A couple of good bits and pieces as you wrote but that's all this time. More interesting seems to me to be the fact, that NYT has recently allowed for several less biased articles to be published and even prominently placed. Their new model for survival? Has it possibly dawned on them that general readers are sick and tired of all that partisan dodo in the media? In this case it smelled of TF being invited to hold the horses somewhat while a slightly more salty article was placed next to it. Taro

"How does one negotiate with folks who think you are descendants of pigs and monkeys?" Mikey, we ALL share common ancestors with pigs and monkeys. In the case of monkeys and pigs, no too much further back down the evolutionary tree.
