i think we have been in a real depression (when denominated in gold) and are entering a nominal depression when measured in any paper currency, meaning 5+% contraction of global gdp in 2009, at least.

'they', all of 'them' should zero-state reset all of the paper monies, earlier the better, to wipe out all debt, and all creditors, so as to save the planet before it is too late

'it' would be the politically correct, humanitarian, and environmentally friendly act

let's just forget about debt, for it is only a number
