Banks are not stupid.

I have to respectfully disagree.....I mean......do you think someone threatened the banks if they didn't drop their credit ratings on clients or accept bad appraisals earlier in this century? How many times have you met a brilliant banker? Remember it was K. Killinger's stupidity/ego that killed WaMu. It was only a few years ago when banks were open only 6 hours per day. Sorry but I don't find banks to be on the smart or even on the cutting edge.
