I agree with you. That particular deduction is nonsense. Anybody with kids has had summer camp experiences...and everybody has asked their tax people is they can deduct it....The code is pretty clear on this one...(and it ain't rare).

Sorry, Bill... not much up on the rules governing whether fancy summer camps are federally deductible or not....

(But I can depreciate capital assets in about fourteen different ways. LOL!)
