ALL, I think bad news about yield problem. The ChipMerchant has once again removed the K6@233mhz from their price list ... this indicates that the 233mhz part is no longer available ... again. Re: "mask B is the mask that caused the speed bin problem, probably introduced to correct minor defects," I don't think this is what caused the yield problem ... all new masks have priority (skew) lots run through the Fab AND tested before committing millions of dollars of WIP (Work in Process) ... nice try, Petz.
