Ork, Gold is not doing it's job, again. The guys we are playing against know exactly what they are doing, and the smackdown this week, right out of the gate, killed all the momo that gold had going. They struck at exactly the right time and to the right level. And the Dollar rallies. Everyone believes the Dollar is the place to be, as deflation is sold this week. Next week it will be inflation again, then stagnation, then short recession, then recovery, then depression, then back to deflation again. All driven by currency plays, when all of these are basically equally bad. And gold should be proving that to everyone, but it is not. Very disappointing, but expected. I should have kept my gold shorts on, but I was convinced that the street was saving the Obama rally for his arrival. If we do not get a Dollar reversal after the ECB cut tomorrow, then I'll close all my miner longs and take the hit. The driver I guess will be is it a 1/2 or 3/4 and what bullshit do we get about what is next for the ECB. The Ted is way down. Libor is way down. All that bullshit about needing Dollars in the fall was just bullshit. I can't believe the rest of the world does not recognize the expansion that mad Ben has brought upon us. I guess they believe that those new dollars are just replacing the bad ones that were vaporized. You know my position on that. GT TH
