combjelly, I haven't actually read the book, but I know it discussed the denigration of Germany as expressed by the punitive and unfair details of the Treaty of Versailles.

I think a LOT of Germans were very open to that sort of thing in the late 20's and early 30's and I don't blame them.

I'm not sure what POINT you wish me to take from this.

BTW, I wish you would respond to me more often so I could learn more stuff. (I'm serious in this comment).
