Fundamentalist Radicalism is growing throughout the Middle East. It threatens not only Israel, but also Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and everybody else that dares to put anything ahead of Islamic Law. I disagree. I don't think Fundamentalist Radicalism is growing in the ME any more than the radical right is growing in this country. If it were, bin Laden would be in charge of his own country by now. I think what's happening is that in recent years, the average American has become aware that FR exists thanks to 9/11 and then the media has fueled the perception and exaggerated it. After all, radicals tend to be very loud....much louder than their actual numbers.

Read this, my friend Zeev wrote it on a different blog to somebody named 'Dörte', who seems to be pretty much on the Sarman/Ted team. Taro "Dörte: Ever heard of Arabs very recently exterminating 2.5 million Moslems in Darfur referred to as “holocaust”? Naah. That would be “arithmetics” and “body counting” inappropriately applied to Moslems (whose religion we respect to much to call this “holocaust”!). Better keep quiet about it. It is so MUCH more interesting to focus on the poor Palestinians who have HUGE casualties of several hundred, large part of them Hamas, just because they are sending some toy rockets at those terrible, terrible Israelis who dare to defend their children against the just Palestinan cause. We the humane, cannot believe this terrible Zeev cares about Palestinian children getting wounded. Zeev is so inappropriately and disrespectfully talking about millions of Moslems murdered by Moslems! Yichs! Arithmetics! And do you know where the few of the black Moslems who survived the massacre are fleeing to? That’s right, to Israel. Poor Darfurians, they probably do not know how terrible those Israelis are, so they are going. I mean, those that survive the (respect their religion!) Moslem Egyptian soldiers who shoot them like dogs when they cross Egypt by foot. Look it up on the map, Dörte. I doubt that you ever went through the exercise. The last deadly obstacle of their journey is the Egyptian-Israeli border. Once they cross to Israel, they are safe. On Israeli welfare, some of them working. We have several hundreds of them now (oops, body-counting again, sorry to offend your sense of propriety, Dörte). ************************** Shauna, Dörte and others: On humanity of sadists and mass murderers, I beg to differ.
