Hello SB,

I purchased the majority of my physical from Tulving. They had the best pricing most of the time.

I do not know if I would buy gold or miners anymore. As far as I am concerned, gold and miners have been a complete failure. Sure they lost less than most assets, but all the reasons that gold should be screaming are exactly in place, and yet the POG is below it's highs.

Many think I'm in left field with such comments, but I believe there is a very, very active effort to contain gold. And I see no reason why this effort will not continue to be effective.

For example, the ECB cuts today, and that is a reason to buy Dollars and gold is weak. Hmmm, seems to me that all currency is worth less, as it is inflated and returns less yield. Gold is actually cheaper to hold on a relative basis, but yet this is a reason to sell gold. And miners are nothing more than stocks. They just trade with the broad indexes most of the time.

So, the point is I have no idea where to hide, for the place that we should hide, and history proves we should hide, is not safe. Then again, history proves time and time again that people do not actually learn from history, so maybe the move in gold is just an end-game action, and thus timing to capture any relative gain is very difficult.
