Compassion, and an ability to delight in, and help, a poor sick lonely animal. I take care of three old cats I inherited from my mom. It was her primary worry when she was dying. What will happen to my cats she said? Two were hers, and are close to 20 now, and the third is a really crazy ferrel cat I have taken care of for 10 years that is so crazy she will still not let me touch me her orstay in the room with her. A tortured soul.
