The baby boomers are in power, and unlikely to voluntarily relinquish it. The rest of us have to either wait for them to die off/retire or forcibly remove them from their positions. Elections are not a solution for the politicians because the people in power present two stooges to us for each position and many Americans are so brain dead that they think one is actually good, rather than just less of a loser than the other. The country will most likely continue to deteriorate until they are gone, one way or another. Since the people of this country have become bleating sheep, the only solution is time. No one is doing anything effective about the incompetence in DC and NYC. We all just complain, including myself. Then again, at this point some other country may end up imposing a solution on us. This is no longer the country we were taught it is in school.
