When Obama appeared, briefly, on the "national stage" four years ago, he had far less "worldly" experience than Palin does. Keep in mind his '04 speech, before which he was totally unheard of, was written by a 24-year old kid.

Obama, in fact, gained recognition solely on the fact that he could do a good job of reading a speech. Yet, 4 years later, you believe he is well qualified as a president.

I see no reason to assume the same can't happen with Palin. Not my choice, of course. But it could happen.

And bamboozled she did. There is an Alaskan on another thread.....he never realized how dumb she was until he heard the Gibson interview. Until then, like many Alaskans, he thought she was the best thing since Haagen Dazs. Not any more.
