Neither of us are experts here. 30s was different than 20s and this time its differnt from the 80s. We will have trillion dollar borrow and spend deficit but we also need to spend the money to get demand side rolling. Supply side there, alive and ready to go but few buyers. If we dont get demand up, supply side fails and then you are in depression. Its never quite the same but dems like Frank seem to have a better handle on post financial crash USA than the conservs. I would have agreed with you in August but given what has transpired we have an entirely new situation. Being stuck in the mud doesnt suit you.
