KT,

>Don't write short term calls. Why give up the upside for little premium and little protection?<

I tend to write shorter term calls. If the stock doesn't get called away, I can do it several months in a row and the annualized return can be huge.

I own some shares of KO. I've been selling the 45 Calls as it approaches 45 and selling the 40 Puts whenever it falls close to 40. Getting both sides has been a lot fun.

I don't mind owning more of it at less than 40 and don't mind selling it at 45, but I love the fact that it keeps trading in between. ;-)
