More and more Muslims are starting to object to the mullahs and the crap they're spreading. There's more protests taking place in Iran and the oppression and repression within the country are getting more world-wide attention.

It's a struggle between the mullah-thugs, who want to take the country back to before the Dark Ages, and most of the rest of the population, who want their country back. Hopefully, the saying, "You can't stop progress" will prevail. With access to the Internet, the youth are exposed to ipods, music, cell phones, makeup, modern dress, etc., and they want that stuff.

We are seeing a major seachange in the way wars are fought. There was a similar seachange when guerilla warfare was first used against the traditional standing armies of the state (such as with the American Revolution).

Wars are easy when you know who you are fighting. Maybe "easy" isn't the right word, but it certainly aids in keeping one's moral compass pointed in the right direction.

We are fighting an enemy that isn't defined by national boundaries. I believe that GWB understood this and understood that if we didn't also change the way we do battle...or force them to fight our battle, we would lose.

I believe this is why we are in Iraq. We had to force our enemy to come to us on our terms (armed troops who are not on US soil) rather than unarmed civilians in the US.

I believe that we long ago stopped killing Iraqis. I believe that we are killing Iranians, syrians and other muslim radicals who come to kill americans. I wish that the U.S. government would release the nationalities of the combatants who we kill in Iraq (and afghanistan for that matter).

I think that it is important for the US to keep a moral high ground and not go for an indiscriminant killing of all muslims. We can't fight their war because it is simply wrong.
