First, was his winning the Democrat nomination via the Democrat Party Call to Convention. The rules established "Super Delegates" that overroad the will of the Democrat Primary Voters. The popular vote which Hillary won was denied with the nomination given to Obama via the Super Delegates. Second was his strategy for the Primary Election and General Election. He obviously used his race, both black and white to garner votes. In the Primary, Obama appealed to the black people saying I am one of you when in fact he had never had any of their experiences. Consolidating the black vote he then switched to being white to appeal to the other half of himself------the white liberal half. The third major reason in the General Election was ----money!! Obama tapped into the money on the internet, money from all of the firms and companies he had criticized and denied, money from the Hollywood elite, from the foreign sources and from the hidden sources such as Emily's List. As Obama became a money machine, he also held out the possibility of taking public financing in the General Election to McCain. Of course, political observers knew that was a political ploy with no sincerity. With the money machine of the left turned on , Obama had unlimited funds to spend on repetitive brainwashing television advertisements which put fear in the hearts and minds of voters------repeating ad nauseum his mantra of hope and change. McCain lacking funds could not match the money that Obama was splashing on television advertisements. These I consider the major reasons-------the Democrat Party Call to Convention stacked in his favor; his use of his own race, black and white; and his turning on the left-wing money machine. mj
