Are you aware that we are in a depression/recession were the consumer is pulling in the rains. Preliminary Christmas numbers show that Amazons growth has slowed substantially. Are you also aware that the consensus estimates for this quarter have been reduced from.59 to .40 by analyst. Where is the growth going to come from ? They may increase sales but cannot make decent profit. On top of that States are hurting and Amazon will have to collect sales taxes, thereby taking an advantage they now enjoy. You seriously would take the risk and buy a stock that has a PE of 40 when their growth is slowing and in the face of dire economic projections. Ok, good luck.

But that's what they are a retailer, in a consumer led recession. They sell products on the internet.
