This is the light at the end of the tunnel. I don't think
it's a train, and I am growing optimistic. A few difficult
years will still be ahead of us, Volcker stuff is never
easy (remember how he broke inflation in the 80-s), but
this is the first real step I've seen toward the solution of
the derivative mess. Although some negative thoughts regarding
Volcker were propagated here on this thread, many bearish
folks, myself included, have the ultimate respect for that man.

Huge derivative players globally will likely be natinalized,
and derivative bubble cancelled (contracts are bilaterial).
We still have to deal with record US trade deficit and
rebuilding the country's manufacturing base, which is part
of Obama's policies. Change IS coming to town.
