The fact is, and everyone pretty much knows this at this point, that Clinton was weak because he didn't understand it was a war.

You cannot hold enemy combatants to the same legal standards you do common criminals -- not and expect to win the struggle.

I don't think Bush did either -- when he arrived in office. However, after 9/11, he knew we had to make fundamental changes.

The Left was all about it -- for a year or so (well, except for Richard Gere). But as I predicted on this thread, the Left's short memory ended up gutting their will to defeat terrorism.

The next attack, when it happens, will have been a direct result of liberal weakness. Which is why liberal presidents should never, ever be elected.
