There are dozens of companies making those boxes, so the extra $650m will be spread out and I don't expect any single company to become golden.

I don't know how fast this spending will occur and how much will be used for equipment. I don't expect any company's stock to soar as a result because there are so many.

Paul, I agree with Gottfried's assessment on this one. I think this means some money for the "commodity" suppliers.

The hardware to accomplish the set top boxes and the broadband internet have already been designed and are in operation. This money is all about "everyone" being provided the missing hardware, and the money provided to supply the hardware will most likely be spread out over quite a few companies.
