the sickness of usa wastrelism is systemically deep
virulent
what fantastic ideas?!
- spending to cure debt addiction
- watch reality shows instead of learning
- treating junk economic voodooism as knowledge

whatever happens, how can it not be biblical in nature and huge in scale?

in any case, i gave our helper her letter stipulating her 2008 longterm savings gift, value date november 3rd 2008 anniversary date.

she is from the philippines, a high school teacher, gentle soul, and since arriving, has wonderfully progressed via further education in hong kong with my in-laws and a few other cooks in thailand, and mastered the art of a whole lot of delicious dishes. when she first arrived, she never cooked for others. now she can better her chef boyfriend in the philippines.

value date november 3rd, 50% into gold @ 720/oz and rest into platinum @ 790/oz.

gold and platinum will do wonderfully, and us$ will not. on average events should work out. at some juncture she should be able to retire and start a eatery in her home town.

recommendation: buy gold, hedge with platinum, short us$, learn new skills, and make sure skills are marketable everywhere for all times.
