He did write about inferior races. As far as I remember, he didn't write about ethnic cleansing per se in that the inferior races should be moved out or killed. He did write that Jews should not have German citizenship and that only true Germans should run businesses.

"Considering what the Germans went through after WWI I can pretty much understand how the idea of ONE strong leader that would clean up the "Red Scare" and stand up to the Versaille Treaty writers would resonate with the average person."

Unfortunately, the idea of one strong leader is appealing to many. Especially in the US.
