The criminal rightwing's nerve to try and blame their own deregulation on Democrats is the most extremely dishonest and outrageous joke I have ever heard.

All our lives from Reagan on down, they have been howling for and passing bills in the middle of the night which deregulate our most regulateable businesses. Almost all theri campaign money comes from the regulatables starting with banks as their #1 source. To even think about trying to deny all this is so cyinical it takes the breath away.

And to see pinheaded little twerpy liarts like Brumar parroting their lies with some piece of cheery-picked nonsense - it's just so un-American. Or maybe it is America. That half of America which we should all be ashamed of. I could call it a lot of things, but it's the rightwing. The traitors, bigots and crooks, IMHO.

In 2002, Bush made a speech where he boasted that he had INSTUCTED Fannie and Freddie to start loaning heavily to people who could not afford it. Yet listenbing to the rightwing, you'd think Barney Frank did it. Barney Frank wasn't even ABLE to do anything. He wasn't in power then, Bushies were, Bush, Phil Gramm, etc. all the post Enron crooks.
