Colonoscopies are the bread and butter for GI docs. I doubt a GI doc would mention the test as an option.

Specifically - for now - you are correct of course, but if we are ever to get our health care cost under control so that we can provide universal health care, changes are coming. This test is part of a paradigm switch. I especially like the SQNM test - instead of a needle to the belly you get blood test. If, IF this test works, who could argue a switch to a blood test over sticking a tube up your ars?

AND, my ex-fatherlaw was killed when they perforated his colon giving him the test. Not a nice way to go.

I can think of several suitable punishments for a doc who gave me a colonoscopy if there was a blood test alternative.

:-)

Agree on that. Seen the results with GIVN's pill (although there are additional factors in that case). ROSG's test will not come instead of but more likely before colonoscopy.
