Try living for a year hiding in a basement, as rockets rain down on your head. That might be clarifying. It interests me that Hamas pounded Israel for a year, but none (as far as I can see) of the terrorist apologists on this board were bothered by this a bit. No posts, no cries of outrage, no accusations of crimes. Just fine with them, it seems, if rockets rain down on civilian areas indiscriminately. Not a peep of outrage. A-OK! But once Israel hits back to stop the attacks, then these same people become indignant. Interesting.
