Funny, I don't remember all that much trickling down to me. I must live in a no trickle zone. <G> But, that can't be true. Now that we are bailing out the superrich and their corporations, I am being trickled to death to help them out. I've got the selective trickle blues.

George W. Bush, The positives.

1. He has done some good work in Africa on the Aids epidemic. I kept on waiting for the other shoe to drop on this one to reveal a truly evil scheme, and it never happened. Maybe the guy does have a nice streak.

2. Medicare Part D was a great compromise that helped seniors without compromising the research spending of drug cos. and biotechs.

3. The surge in Iraq was way over-hyped and The Fallujah Awakening was probably more important to the country as a whole, but Baghdad has become more peaceful since the surge. It still isn't peaceful and you still need a vest in the Green Zone and a tank in any other zone, but it is more peaceful than before. The countryside is still the wild west and even Fallujah has backslid on some of its progress. But there has been some progress.

4. He finally gave up on his fake cowboy persona and has moved back to Dallas.
