off topic you'll do very well. good plan. lots of tax advantages and writeoffs. You may also find some highly-profitable cash crops you can turn a few times a year once you're ready to live there. You're right, it's not suitable for long-distance ownership. There are areas in northern california with similar numbers. tree-huggers are more of a problem here. btw have you looked at a little company called SRS? They and Zoran have interesting DSP work going, SRS up a lot today for no reason, since you follow TI i thought you might follow this one.
