How is that even possible, when, like Nixon, you believe that when the president does it, it's not illegal?

Who said I believe that?

But I believe when the president takes the country to war with full congressional approval, it is always legal. Congress has had 6 years to stop it, as they control the money, and they've chosen not to. Obviously, there was nothing illegal about it.

On the issue of Gitmo, we'll see how quickly Obama closes it. If it is illegal he'll close it this week.

On the issue of waterboarding as torture, there is no consensus that waterboarding even CONSITUTES torture, and with presidential authorization it was certainly legal.

So, I'm not quite sure what "crime" you anti-Americans allege was committed.
