"self-actualization"
That is a term that I must confess: I never understood it. Am I not myself? Am I not JS - Actual?
Maybe I am missing a cultural trend that has given the word "actual" semantic shadings of which I am unaware. My inner engineer sez "it is actual, or it is not actual. Binary choice." The rest of me gently takes my inner engineer by the shoulder and says, with a barely-perceptible headshake:
"duuuuude."
My inner engineer goes into his room in a huff. Now my slightly-naive right brain (nicer folks than that fussy engineer type, but usually in the background) (that is the world of an Asperger. Observe as one attempts to improve his genetically-predisposed behavior. Makes for fascinating college psych course video...)
is paying attention.
What would you tell me about self-actualization? Is there a recommended procedure for pursuing/encouraging this event/process?

cheers js (the voices say Hey)
