Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), explaining his plan to reduce the influence of special interests, made what sounded like a clear-cut pledge to bar the more than 35,000 registered federal lobbyists from ever working in his administration.

“They won’t work in my White House!” Obama has said repeatedly this week on his Iowa bus tour.

...

Lobbyists can work in an Obama administration — just not for two years in an area related to their work as lobbyists, according to the candidate’s proposal released earlier this year.

the raytheon lobbyists was a registered lobbyist as of a couple *months* ago. technically, that makes this a double lie - he lied and then lied again to cover the first lie. what he says and what he does do not match.

thi sis business as usual for politicians - and wouldn't even merit a mention except obama said he was different. and geittner pays his taxes... -lol-

more lobbyists coming...

no wonder fooling the american people is so easy - we have poor memories.
