tejek,

I only posted the story about Obama supporting Little Timmy because the topic was being followed here.

To me that is proof that it is business as usual. That is different from what you are saying, which is an opinion.

As for the rest of the discussion, maybe you missed the part where I stated that I wish the best for Obama. I like him. I think he was by far the better choice. But still, I do not think much will be different.

1. No man can stop the ocean.
2. The system runs things, and that system is very motivated by self-interest and NOT the interest of the people.
3. Money talks, and money buys the White House. Money ain't going away.
4. Some people believe there are two parties. Some people believe that life on TV is <real>. Some people believe in Santa Claus.

The average American is ignorant. This is by design. They are programed to consume, and they do it well, until the credit river runs dry. Your statement about the American voter having something to do with the two choices is, and please forgive me, naive. There is a pre-selection and all choices are acceptable to the system. Someone like Ron Paul never had a chance, for from day one the media was busy programing the public that Paul was a nutjob. There was nothing close to grass roots in this election. What you label as grass roots support for Obama was belief in a man with personal charisma. I believe he is a good man. I think McCain is a good man too. Neither would have been able to stop the tsunami that is coming, for that wave is deep and in motion for 40 years.

I do not wish to engage in politic discussion. Please do not think me rude if I do not respond to political topics, but I have to clip my toenails now and other important stuff.

"If he turns out to be bad and corrupt, then maybe the American voter is the problem."

Bush's re-election has already shown that the American voter is a BIG problem. The American voter is stupid, led to vote against his own self-interest and easily fear-mongered. And that's the half that bother to vote.
