Dave,

We can't let you get away with this one sided negative post <<G>>.
Bulls fighting back here. Can't take anymore losses.

How about CPQ, IBM, TXN, JBIL, DELL, CYMI, CREAF, ASMLF, KLAC,
MSFT, AMAT, NVLS, COHU,... to name a few

Roly

Dave, >>The interesting thing is that alot of people think that AMAT is isolated from all the things going on in the tech sector....If one or two company came in with bad numbers, I'd say no big deal....but it's been a steady stream of disappointments that cannot be ignored and down the road it will show up at AMAT's front door. again just my opinion.<<

Well, we've seen AMAT is not only NOT isolated, but declined more
percentage-wise than non-semi-equipment stocks. (My QNTM and IOM
held up well). I think you got the 'isolated' idea because some
compared AMAT to a seller of weapons. That is a valid comparison,
but it requires that the warring parties have the money to buy
guns. Right now there is uncertainty about that. There is no
uncertainty that technology of the kind enabled by AMAT will
continue to be in demand, even with one less box maker.
