She's in Brig, Switzerland. It's a town of about 14,000 (including the adjoining town, Glis). About 2 hrs from Geneve, 2.25 hrs. from Zurich and 2.0 hrs from Milan, Italy. Zermatt and the Matterhorn are 45km away. You'll be in the North Country when you go. At the moment, my daughter is having a hard enough time with the temps in Switzerland (it is in the middle of the Alps, after all!). Doubt she'll be going to Scandahoovia any time soon. Too dern cold. I told her if it was me, I'd focus my travel on Italy and Spain, for the most part at least until after February.
