On the other hand, they are a business, and as such they depend on participation here on their site. When people click away from this site, SI is no longer making money. So allowing links which encourage others to click away would be like someone handing out invitations for Burger King while on McDonald's property. SI is private property, and as such we are all guests here and subject to their rules. My only wish is they would enforce some of their own rules. Allowing the insults/attacks which are often tossed out on this board doesn't seem productive. But other than that, SI is a great site. At least it has been during my short time here.
