After mid September of 2008 I took out a bunch of US currency becuase I though we might have a 'bank holiday' - which is just closing the gate on everything.

I put the money back by late November, as the banks had been effectively nationalized and backed up by the FED and Treasury.

Are you holding HKD, USD, EUR, or RMB currency ?
