Tide is by far the biggest rip-off in the detergent business if you exclude the Amway products, IMO.

If you packaged other formulas in a Tide container and had it scented the same I doubt most people would notice.

It's amazing how folks buy washing machines and detergent without actually knowing how the cleaning process is working.

I saw 32-use Era detergent on sale for $3.00 at a store a few weeks ago and it was absolutely flying out the door.

Many of the older brand names like Era, Wisk, and All do not command the price premium of newer or brands with higher market share due to the lower marketing costs and smaller market penetration.
