Right. I once lived in a black and white land. There were no shadows at all. If you stood with one foot on a black space, and one foot on a white space, you got a line on you dividing you into perfectly white and black. Amazing. You had to be on one side or the other, so you were constantly jumping to this square or that. Dizzying. I think you just landed on a black square. Actually I knew I was an ignorant fool. I thot I was the biggest fool in the entire world. Until I met you. Of course I should have said it is eminently obvious to everyone that Americans are as evil and foolish as you and I are. Then it would be a perfectly fair statement, understood by even the most foolish and evil. To go still further for ultimate clarity, abroad there were perhaps three or more classes of people. Those willing to heap insincere praise on Americans in order to receive foreign aid, and those with oil who felt impunity who could get money from them and still criticize them as evil and foolish. Some even received foreign aid and wheat deals etc, but given that their politics were opposed fundamentally had to say that Americans were evil and foolish at least in government. A fourth class wanted to be independent and avoid trouble all at once, so were highly critical especially within earshot of America's implacable and dangerous enemies. EC<:-}
