LOL. I would expect such as the few times I faced a pretty severe problem on the submarine that you are so busy working the problem you really don't even have time to be afraid. Plus I expect pilots even more then perhaps us bubble heads don't realize that they could potentially fail. The supreme confidence that no matter what the problem is I will fix it with ease is likely a personality trait they all have.
