The holes were drilled over an area of 200m x 200m on a 25m x 50m drill grid. Other holes delimited the zone to the north and west. The zone remains open to the south and east for expansion. A map of the drill grid can be found on the Company's website, www.IMPACTSilver.com. The shallow depth below surface and orientation of the mineralization indicate that the zone has potential for low cost open pit mining.

IMPACT won the 200-square-kilometer Mamatla Mineral District in a government auction in February 2007 and a field crew has been working there ever since. This is the first drilling carried out in the area by IMPACT. The Mamatla Mineral District is located immediately adjacent to and southwest of the Royal Mines of Zacualpan District, where IMPACT operates several silver mines. Mamatla is host to both epithermal silver veins and volcanogenic massive sulphide ("VMS") base and precious metal mineralization. The Aurora 1 Zone reported here and the nearby Capire Zone (250 meters to the west) are VMS deposits whose origin is associated with ancient metal-bearing hot springs on the seafloor. Aurora 1 and Capire are in the same stratigraphy as the Campo Morado VMS District where Farallon Resources Ltd. (TSE:FAN) recently began production on the G-9 VMS deposit (5.57 million tonnes grading 7.3% zinc, 1.0% lead, 1.3% copper, 186 g/t silver and 2.8g/t gold). The G-9 VMS deposit is located along trend, 45 kilometers southwest of Aurora 1.

FUTURE PLANS

IMPACT mining engineers are studying the Aurora 1 drill data to quantify the economics of the zone and make preliminary mine plans. Samples from the drilling are being sent for metallurgical testing. IMPACT geologists plan to continue drilling the zone to the south and east where it remains open for expansion. The nearby Capire VMS Zone (250 meters to the west) was also drilled at the same time; assays have been received and results will be reported as soon as the information is compiled and interpreted.
