I walked down to the CC near me at Broadway/81st yesterday and found lots of shoppers, no bargains, very few buyers and pathetically useless help! I had considered picking up a nice little digital Canon camera for Mrs. R--NFW! They had taken all prices back to full retail and were now offering 10-20% off that depending on the item. The canon 1100IS I was considering was $251 after the discount--it was $229 last week-and it is $199.00 right now at Target!

One glance at the CD rack tells the story--lots of Jim Croce's Greatest Hits and other such fabulous selections. Nothing even remotely recent.

I did go to Circuit City and WAS disappointed. It didn't seem like they wanted to blow that crap out of there at all. I might have bought something small, but it would have taken an hour to pay for it! No thanks!
