The liquidator is keeping the difference.

Don't expect any deal. Yesterday, couldn't find any price
better than a good discount day. Some seems to have higher
than normal price.

Had to buy a couple bags of expensive candy to burn the
balance of a gift card.

Sometimes they drop a little every following week on hard to
move items and remove 'salable items' to other channel of the
liquidator.
