Don't hold your breath.

Obama will do whatever it takes to buy votes.
I have zero faith in the man. He actually has no faith in himself except in his ability to schmooze.

Otherwise, his promises and pronouncements would mean something.

It's one thing for promises on the campaign trail to prove unrealistic or too difficult to fulfill after one has attained office. But Obama started singing a different tune as soon as he began the transition.

Now there are many who give him high marks for this, but I'm not one of them.

I regard it as a character flaw to simply say anything to win, which is basically what Obama did. Since he's never actually accomplished anything, except to win elections with either the help of Chicago machine politics or a compliant press, I just can't get too excited about being a cheerleader.

He's going to have to do more than just show up and vote *present.*

I think he said the tax cut for 95% was for "working Americans". It was for earned income.

“For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country,” she told a Milwaukee crowd today, “because it feels like hope is making a comeback.” Michelle Obama
