Just wait another few years. We'll find out so much more about these scams.

I still believe that Madoff is only one iceberg in a sea full of icebergs. We're only looking at the tip of the first iceberg. Few will have imagined the scope of this situation. Even those of us who have been following these issues may end up surprised by the wide range of the scams involved. The amount of money is going to dwarf the $50 Billion of the Ponzi scheme hedge fund. The total value of counterfeit stock created by the "Madoff exception" will make the hedge fund Ponzi scheme look like peanuts in retrospect.

If your wondering where your market cap went,(?) look no further than the article too which this is a reply.

The systemic theft by legalized fiat rules,proves this threads premises;
1. That there are no market prices.
2. That what prices there are, are artifacts of prevailing systems intent.
3. That supply and demand in the trade are disconnect, essentially privatized, to enable theft by them that do.
4. That regulatory bodies are complicit.
5. That the first principle laws governing stock issuance are default in lieu of current market systemics.
6. That the SEC needs to be disbanded and replaced by something with an iota of integrity.
7. That Investors ned to register thier holding directly with Companies investor Relations departments, creating a proper feedback loop to CEO's and thier respective stocks balance with governing laws..
8. That broker dealers locate "probably nothing", as the limb they climbed out on, and routinely operate from has no feed back mechanism that actually functions, and is now just a big desk operation.

There is one chance to reform....its in the restoration of Supply and Demand enabling the return of market prices.

Wholesale cleansing is a certainty.

And we all owe a debt of gratitude to one Bernie Madoff for his startling confessions.
