"By the time they get down to a decent price there won't be anything I want left".

This is true.

But for CC, I don't see anything remotely attractive at this
point. Most online sales beat them, by large margin.

eg: 10% off 4gig flash drive of $25.

If you run into some clearance priced with 10% off, then it
is ok, but those are rare and beaware many 'sale price'
posted are out-of-date. Price-check, price-check and know
before you pay (or it will be too late, ALL SALES FINAL).

By the time they get down to a decent price there won't be anything I want left. Been there done that.

Aside from that, you have to actually get into your car, drive down there, park and then go inside to shop!

Who the Hell shops in person these days for electronics when you can get almost anything delivered the very next day at the best possible price without ever leaving the house?

Every once in a while I'm forced by sheer necessity to go into a BestBuy but I'm always cursing myself for being reduced to that over some deadline situation. Even then I buy online and do the pick up option. Who wants to talk to some salesperson who knows less than the unbiased info you can gather for yourself over the web?

The brick and mortar chain is dead, there is about 50% too much retail space in this country. I expect retailer after retailer to go bust in the coming few years unless they have a robust online presence.
