A total crock of shit.

Fascism could have come to our country 75 years ago -- in the form of Huey P. Long. He essentially created a fascist state in Louisiana and had every plan to bring it to the nation as a whole. This is the closest we have come and had he not been assassinated we might well have become a fascist state at that time.

That pretty much sums up Bush.

If Iraq had gone the way the neo-cons had planned and bankers had been more interested in sound banking than $200 million dollar paydays, then I'm sure the trend would have continued.

If things don't look much better in 2012, I have a feeling we'll see Sarah Palin, Military Mom/Reverend in the next election.
