We are in a secular bear market now. Regardless of who is President or who controls Congress, we will at best go sideways for the next 8-10 years...

I wouldn't make my trading decisions on who is president. The fact is over the long term his policies when enacted can affect the market. His election could have a short term effect. We won't know if his policies prove effective for a minimum of 2 years. It is time to sit back and watch. Not fair to judge until we see what he does. Ignore what he says that is just for show.
