The article says nothing about Byrd and KKK. Read it all. In fact, Obama had an early meeting with Byrd in the early part of his campaign. Byrd tacitly gave him his support. However, Byrd did make one recommendation to Obama at that time--which came from wisdom, for Obama to consider waiting 4 years and gain experience in the Senate. Obama ignored Senator Byrd's advice----the result is we have the most inexperienced President in the history of the USA in office.
