I tend to agree with your viewpoint primarily because of his history. It is not stand up. Since he is our president, I hope he will operate from the middle of politics. Unfortunately, his voting record in Illinois and the U.S. Senate are not illustrative of someone who thinks from the "middle". It won't be long and we will know for sure..... Obama certainly associates with some very questionable people. He appointed Erik Holder, the central figure in Clinton's Pardongate, to be his AG. This means he has no intention of following the law or of being Constructionist. If you remember Holder was the guy behind sticking a gun in little Elian Gonzales' face and stealing the refuge from his family and sentencing Elian to abuse in Cuba. His Treasury Secretary nominee is a tax cheat. His Nominee for Secretary of State is possibly the most evil person in America today. His spiritual mentor was thrown under the bus after he was exposed as an anti-American hate spewing crackpot. The guy who held his first fundraiser couldn't even get into Canada. The guy who's wife overpaid for their lot so Obama could get a deal on his house is a felon.
