Looking for the most bang for the buck, Anthony. I've had non-linear edit work done in 4 different studios, all of which were Avid-Mac. (3 Media Composers & 1 Media Suite or somesuch). Haven't actually seen a Media 100 system, but hear good things.

My only gripe with the Avid systems was rendering time on graphics. I guess things are faster with the newer upgrades and newer, faster computers. (All 4 of these guys were using QUADRAS!) Ease-of-use is important, too. How's the Avid to actually USE? Which (Avid or Media 100) system seems to have the sharpest picture? Also, are you on Mac or PC with Avid? Thanks, Anthony, for your time. Regards, Ralph
